Round two of the 2016 Arctic Winter Games territorial trials are about to get underway. Everything kicks off on Jan. 14 with the second batch of sports determining its final rosters for the Games in Greenland, barring any appeals.

Two sports – badminton and snowboarding – will be held in Yellowknife while the other sports will be held throughout the territory. Inuvik will host Arctic sports and snowshoeing, Dene games are being held in Fort Smith, wrestling happens in Hay River and table tennis takes place in Fort Providence. The action will finish on Jan. 16 and the sports will release its final rosters shortly afterward.

The deadline to register for the trials was on Jan. 6.
